watch me rise [01 Jul 2007|11:38am] I stand to the right of the stage the whole night. Big boys and little men jump and push and reach over one another. Every last one screaming the lyrics with more emotion and feeling than I've ever seen in my life. This is music. This is love. This is devotion. Singers hand their soul out during these 30 minute sets. It is up to us whether or not we take it. Last night, I took it. "I'd rather die on my feet, than live on my knees." They chant, over and over, passion fills the air. I tear up. I am "armed with a mind." post comment
